The construction of a new sixth form facility in Altrincham, Cheshire, will see Metaldeck working in partnership with trading division Metcon and sister company Raised Floor Solutions to deliver a complete floordeck, concrete and access floors package solution on this £6 million scheme.

Metaldeck and trading division Metcon will partner on a new contract to supply and install steel decking and concrete floors for the construction of the forthcoming Grimbsy Seafood Village, near Hull.

The contract was awarded by local firm QA Construction following a six-year feasibility study.

The new village will be built in two phases, the first will involve construction of 20 self-contained units each with 2,000 sq ft of factory working space and 1,500sq ft for offices and storage.

Metaldeck is nearing completion on installation of steel decking for the construction of a prestigious new 'Super League' standards stadium for Salford Reds Rugby League Club.

Metaldeck won the decking contract for the construction of the new Formula 1 Pit and Paddock complex at Silverstone.

The prestigious contract was awarded by Barrett Steel Buildings Ltd.

Metaldeck supplied and installed 17,000m of MD60 V2 for use in the build of a four-storey 375m stadium and hospitality complex.

The new complex is due for completion in time for the British Grand Prix 2011 and will include new garages, a race control building, media centre, hospitality and VIP spectator zones and a primary paddock.

Metaldeck has got off to a great start this year with a string of new contracts both in the UK and overseas.

These include the installation of 6,600m2 of Kingspan MD60 for the construction of the new Salford Reds Stadium in Manchester for contractors Barrett Steel Buildings.
